This fresh water 43 Hatteras exemplifies the quality workmanship of the Hatteras name. The only problem with this Motor Yacht is its name “Regency”. It should have been called “Eye Catcher” or “Neck Turner” as that’s what happens when it’s out for a cruise or pulling into the dock. This particular boat represents the cream that floats to the top. From bow to stern to the inside accommodations “Regency” represents the Hatteras name with glory. The aft deck / lower helm of this boat is fully enclosed with tinted sliding glass windows. This addition creates a second salon which is not only great when cruising, but also for entertaining or just plain relaxation. There is not a modern Cruisers, Inc, Carver or Sea Ray aft cabin motor yacht that can compete either in styling, quality or sea worthiness with this 43 Hatteras at even two or three times the price. Besides this boat spending its existence in fresh water, it is a northern boat and has been dry docked six months out of every year. Thus, it has less wear on all components than most other 43’s in the market. Accommodations:
You enter the salon via an access door from the aft deck. Three steps down you are treated to a nice size salon with two comfortable lounge chairs and convertible sofa. Forward of the salon two steps down is the galley to port and a cabin with bunk beds to starboard. Continuing forward is a Head with access from the hall or direct from the V Berth Forward Stateroom. To the aft of the salon is the Master Stateroom which contains a Queen size bed nice size hanging locker and row after row of sliding drawers lining both the starboard and port sides. Off the master stateroom forward is the master head with separate shower. The interior wood is Varnished Teak throughout and is in absolute exquisite condition.
