Accommodations
Three staterooms, three heads and a huge salon and galley provide a very comfortable interior layout. The original floor plan offered an additional double berth which has been converted to storage and pantry space.
PORT SIDE - FORWARD CABIN
Furnished with a queen berth awarthships, hanging locker, storage drawers, dressing settee and color TV. A large deck hatch and two opening ports provide excellent natural ventilation. Additional fixed ports offer plenty of natural light. Ensuite head with sink, mirror, marine toliet and tub with shower located further aft.
PORT SIDE - AFT CABIN
Furnished with a queen berth awarthships, storage drawers, computer desk and shelves. The head is located forward of the cabin and is equipped with sink, mirror, marine toilet and shower stall. This head is closest to the cockpit and thus easily accessed for day use.
STARBOARD SIDE - FORWARD CABIN
Furnished with a queen berth awarthsips, hanging locker, storage drawers, dressing settee and color TV. A large deck hatch and two opening ports provide excellent natural ventilation. Additional fixed ports offer plenty of natural light. The ensuite head is located forward and equipped with a sink, mirror, marine toilet and shower stall.
GALLEY - Located on the starboard side and extending from midship to the aft quarter. The aft section has been converted to a very spacious stroage area but, could easily be fitted with a crew bunk if desired.
SALON - Located three steps up from the cabins and galley, this common space features several large windows, comfortable seating and additional storage space. The main electrical panels, generator panel and stereo are conveniently located on the aft bulkhead. Beautifully varnished double teak doors lead out to the spacious cockpit and teak trim surrounds the wrap around windows.
Galley
Elongated configuration with pale yellow formica counter tops and varnished teak cabinets. This galley offers an exceptional amount of storage and counter space and is open to the salon inboard. GOLDEN SPIRIT was originally rigged as a sailing cat. She was reef damaged in 1993 and the present owners purchased the boat and spent several years rebuilding and refitting. She was launched in 1997. Both hulls were repaired by installing new 3/4'' beams and solid fiberglass sections. The hull and deck were freshly painted with Awlgrip. Both engines were rebuilt as needed and the new generator was installed. New wiring, plumbing and hydraulic steering was installed. The Raymarine navigation instrument and the autopilot were also installed new. Most of the galley appliances were added as part of the refit as well. The cabin sole is 5/8'' marine plywood covered with low pile carpet. Excellent access to the engines can be gained from the salon or side panels in each hull. The generatior is installed in one of the cockpit lockers aft. The vessel was last hauled for survey in April 2006 and a copy of the report is available. Minor blisters were repaired and new antifouling paint was applied.
