1996 Tiara 3300 Open w/Twin Crusader 454 Inboards Engines

The Tiara 3300 Open is an outstanding example of how versatile a express style boat can truly be. Her comfortable helm area and spacious cockpit make for a great cruising or fishing platform. The interior features a private forward cabin with an island double berth, large u-shaped dinette which converts to a double berth, galley and head. The boat is powered by a pair of Crusader 454 XLi gas engines with freshwater cooling. Other features include Westerbeke generator, reverse cycle air conditioning, radar, GPS, auto pilot, fishfinder and VHF.

Model History

Tiara first offered the 3300 Open in 1988. At the time, the 3300 bridged the gap in Tiara model line up between the 3100 and the 3600 Open models. The 3300 was produced for a total of 9 model years, which was a testament to the boat's popularity and design. There were two cabin layouts during the production run; for the first half of production the cabin was arranged with an offset double berth forward and the galley aft to port. The second half of production had an island double berth in the bow, the galley forward of the head on starboard and a much larger u-shaped dinette with entertainment center ran along the port side of the salon. (This is the arrangement in "Queen Mary")The last year of production was 1997, then in 1998, Tiara introduced the 3500 Open.
Vessel Walk Thru

The cabin is entered on centerline via a sliding companionway door and down three steps. In the salon, a large u-shaped dinette is located to port and runs the full length of the salon. Opposite on starboard, aft is the head and forward is the compact galley. Moving forward, a solid bulkhead separates the salon from the forward stateroom. The forward stateroom features and island double berth and plenty of storage.
Salon

A large u-shaped settee is to port with a bi-fold dinette table. The table will drop and convert to a double with while the backrest raised to make a single Pullman style berth. A TV and stereo system are recessed at the aft end of the settee and feature two cabinets and a small shelf under the TV. Three storage lockers under the settee, one forward, one aft and the third between which housed the air conditioning compressor.

Forward Stateroom

The forward stateroom is separated from the salon/galley area by a full bulkhead with a bi-fold door. There is a raised centerline island double berth with a large hinged storage locker aft end and more storage at the forward end. There are port and starboard handing lockers aft, built-in steps on either side of the berth for easy access and (2) hull mounted storage shelves
