43' ft Tiara 4300 Open

Model History

Introduced in 1991, the 4300 Open was the largest express model Tiara had every produced. In fact she remained Tiara's flagship express until 1999 when they introduced the 5000 Express. There were two floor plans available, in the optional plan, the port salon settee was replaced by two barrel chairs with storage cabinets behind. ("Life Is Good" features the standard arrangement.) There were not major redesigns of the boat during her 11 year production run which is always the sign of a great boat. Production ended in 2002 and the vessel was replaced in 2003 with the 4200 Open.
Construction

Tiara uses premium polyester and vinylester resins along with the finest in E-glass knitted fiberglass cloth in the layup of their products. The 4300's hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline and is cored with Baltek balsa core in the hull sides above the waterline. The hull has 16 degrees of deadrise at the transom and features two running strakes and reversed chines.The stringers are a grid system design made of hand-laid fiberglass and cored with marine grade plywood. The deck layup is similar to the hull's but with the balsa coring used to stiffen the walking areas of the deck. The hull to deck joint is a "shoe box" style that is chemically and mechanically fastened and is covered with a stainless steel rub rail. The entire boat is hand-laid to the highest standards.
Vessel Walk Thru

From the helm deck, you enter the cabin through a sliding companionway door and down three steps. Immediately to port is the U-shaped galley with dual Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer. Opposite on starboard is the full head with large stall shower. Moving forward, there is a roomy u-shaped dinette on starboard and an L-shaped settee across on port. Both the dinette and settee will convert to sleep a total of 4 people. Forward of the salon is the master stateroom with an oversized double berth, 2 hanging lockers and generous storage. The salon and master stateroom are separated by a solid bulkhead with hinged door. The interior is finished Tiara's optional Honey Ash wood, solid teak and holly sole and optional hunter green leather upholstery. The interior is bright and airy with just enough darker wood and soft goods to offset the honey ash. As with all Tiaras, build quality and attention to detail is exceptional throughout.
Salon

The salon is arranged with a large convertible dinette to starboard and a convertible L-shape settee to port. The dinette is in the optional hunter green leather and there is a beautiful dinette table with a maple top with teak border. The table does drop down to convert to a full double berth. Above the dinette is three storage lockers and the recess TV/VCR. There is storage beneath with two convenient pull-out drawers. Just aft of the dinette is a hanging locker. The port settee is also in the green leather and will convert to a pull-man style upper and lower berth. There are four overhead storage bends and three pull-out drawers beneath the settee. The condition of the interior and the materials is excellent.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom has a generous double island berth on centerline. The base of the berth is hinged forward which allows for easy access to the tremendous storage beneath. There are two hanging lockers aft on port & starboard and there are overhead storage bends too. The stateroom is separated from the salon area by a full bulkhead with hinged door.

Galley

The galley is U-shaped and well thought out. There are two large Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer units that give tremendous capacity. With 1 storage cabinets and four drawers, plus the in-counter locker, you should be able to find a place for everything in this galley.

Helm Deck

The helm deck has a large curved settee to port with storage below. Opposite on starboard is the helm with double-wide electric bench seat and a wet bar directly behind. The area is enclosed by a bimini top connected to an aluminum radar arch aft. There is a full 3 sided enclosure plus a front connector piece from the bimini to the windshield. The helm deck measures 83 square feet. The large custom Tiara windshield gives exceptional visibility for both captain and passengers. Access to the engine room is via an in-deck hatch at the center of the area.

Helm

The gray helm is well laid out, which is typical of all Tiara products. Visibility is outstanding thru the large custom Tiara windshield. For those hot summer days, there is the cool helm option. All electronics are flush mounted in the dash for easy access. A large SS destroyer style wheel, single lever electronic controls and bow thruster make this boat a pleasure handle.

Cockpit

The cockpit is ideal for fishing or cruising and has 84 square feet of space. There are two built-in seats, one is an aft facing fixed bench forward on port while the second is a transom fold-down bench which tucks away for maximum fishing space. There is a robust transom door with tuna gate which leads out onto the factory swim platform. Fishing amenities include Lee outriggers, a fighting station in the center of the cockpit, plenty of Lee rod holders, a huge in-deck fish box with a second box that can be converted to a livewell, and a small tackle center at the wet bar.
