Accommodations and Layout
Above and below decks the Hunter 44/426AC was designed for sailing comfort and pleasure. Above decks you will enjoy a well laid out cockpit with Hunter's "Arch", walk-thru transom, helm station with pedestal mounted electronics, single lever engine control, integrated cockpit table, comfortable high coamings and everything within easy reach of the helmsperson. Going forward is safe and easy with wide side decks, tall lifelines, single attachment point outboard shrouds, open bow with anchor well and bow roller and bow pulpit. In mast furling and furling headsail make handling the sails easy and safe. Everything is handled from the cockpit via coachroof sheet stoppers, self tailing halyard winches and aft mounted sheet winches.
Below decks she shows off her true size and offers room and comfort for the entire crew, extended cruising or living aboard. The main salon boasts Hunters trademark "windshield" creating an open and airy main room featuring a large convertable salon table to port, full bench settee to starboard, large private v-berth with a double berth and a smaller berth/couch, full cruising galley, two heads and a master stateroom featuring an athwart ships double, seperate seat, loads of storage and private head entrance.
All in all, she offers everything you need to slip away from the dock and cruise into the sunset.
