INTERIOR:
This 42 was built with a Plan "C" or two stateroom layout. The master stateroom is forward and offers an Island style queen berth, hanging lockers, ample storage under the berth, separate AC/Heat controls, flat screen tv, and a private entrance to the head The second stateroom includes twin bunks, hanging or drawer storage, it's own flatscreen with separate dvd player, opening port and bifold door for privacy. The salon offers a large L shaped settee complete with folding dinette table. The settee converts to sleep two or with the table extended offers dining for 4.
GALLEY:
Features in the galley include a refrigerator with separate freezer, recessed 2 burner cooktop, corian countertops, undermount stainless steel sink, microwave/convection over, coffee maker, storage above and below the countertop, and excellent lighting.
ELECTRONICS:
The well rigged navigation electronics are listed below. In addtion, you will find a Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo for the cockpit that includes Sirius Satellite radio and separate 6 disk changer. ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL:
Ships power is provided by a 50amp / 240volt inlet with 65' of cable mounted handled by a Glendinning cablemaster. For bow in situations this boat is rigged with an optional foward shore power inlet and 25' of 50/250 cable. While underway ships power is provided by a Kohler 8KW generator with remote start panel in the salon. Generator currently has 340 hours. An oil change system, Racor fuel filters, 160 amp alternators with external regulators and an efficient layout make work in the engine room quick and efficient.
DECK & HULL:
Other standard and optional equipment found aboard includes a windlass with bow and helm controls, hardtop with three sided enclosure, upper and lower cockpit carpet (blue), fresh and raw water washdowns for the cockpit, macerator for the in floor storage boxes, white helm and hardtop support with custom twin blue boot stripe, black companionway steps, transom fold down lounge, cockpit icemaker at the wetbar, custom blue piping on exterior vinyl. A custom drop curtain and custom aft curtain allow for comfortable running in all weather.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT:
"Someday" was set up for family travel and includes a large oval table in the lower cockpit that can be removed when not in use, yet storage boxes and the fold down lounge are both accessable. Addtionally, a 42" factory installed swim platform allows for horizontal storage of a 10' hard bottom dingy powered by a 6hp Mercury outboard. The tender is stored and launched from a St. Croix system mounted to the platform. When not in use this system is removable and will stow in the cockpit floor boxes.
