Accommodations
The Catalina 36 has one of the most popular layouts of any sailboat on today’s market. She has a forward cabin with V-berth and removable centerpiece. This cabin features a privacy door, hanging locker, and storage compartments with an overhead hatch to insure ventilation. Next is the head with shower seat, mirrors, vanity, and plenty of ventilation. Moving aft is the main salon with rich teak bulkheads and cabinetry. The comfortable U shaped dinette to port can be made into a third double berth. Across and to starboard are two straight settees facing each other with a table between them that also converts into a single berth. Continuing aft is the galley. Across from which is the navigation station with plenty of room for books, electronics, and charts. Next aft is a large double berth with privacy curtain, hanging lockers, and storage.
Galley
The galley is U shaped and has loads of room for a yacht this size.There is pressure hot/cold water with two stainless sinks, Adler-Barbour refrigeration, two-burner CNG stove with oven and more than enough counter space for preparing
great meals for a big crew.
