Features The Hunter 430 was designed by Warren Luhrs to deliver style and comfort in a vessel that's fast, easy to sail, stable and comfortable. Fractional rig, swept-back spreaders and a full-roach main eliminate the need for a backstay and improves sail efficiency and ease of handling. The exterior design includes an enormous cockpit with a substantial dodger, integrated mainsheet arch with instrument pod and a walk-through transom with integral swim platform, and a huge cockpit with robust dodger and bimini. Spacious and thoughtfully laid out two stateroom/two full head interior with 6'6 headroom, lots of light and storage.
Accommodations Going below through sliding companionway hatch and down teak stairs, to starboard is the navigation station with teak navigation table and upholstered seat. 120 volt and 12 volt circuit breaker panels, tank level indicators, AM/FM/CD stereo, and chart light mounted above. Interior upholstery is of blue fabric, complimented by rich teak cabinetry and bulkheads, Corian countertops, and teak and holly laminate sole. Forward of the navigation station is a large dinette with storage beneath, 12 volt light fixture above, decorative throw cushions, and teak table that drops to make a double berth. Inboard of table is a bench seat that with Corian top that has storage. The salon and cocpit have stereo speakers, 12 volt fans and 12 volt lighting. Opposite the dinette is the galley with Corian countertops, double stainless sinks, cabinets above and below, 3 drawers, molded cup holders, Panasonic microwave, top loading refrigerator and freezer, undercounted trash bin, teak wineglass rack, and Seaward Princess 3 burner propane stove/oven. The Main salon area has 3 large opening hatches and companionway and retractable blinds. Forward of salon is the guest cabin with double berth to starboard, a hanging locker, desk and cabinet to port and seat, and 2 large opening hatches. Forward again is the guest head with large sit down shower area, Jabsco manual toilet, mirrored med. cabinet, sink basin, towel holders, stainless hand rail, opening locker with shelves, and Corian countertop. Moving aft of the galley to port is an entry to large master head, including Jabsco manual toilet, Corian countertop, sink basin, shower area with curtain, towel holders, mirror, 12 volt lighting, 1 opening hatch and 1 opening portholes, storage cabinet, and engine access. Moving aft again is a door access from the head to the master cabin. Master cabin has an extra large queen bed, port and starboard shelving and cabinets, port and starboard hanging lockers, 12 volt fans and lighting, 5 aluminum opening portholes, engine access, and louvered doors that open to main salon. The master head is Groco full sized for a really nice seat! Engine is located beneath companionway stairs, with battery selector switches.
